Just what is a Catster?
A Catster is a cross between a cat and a hamster. Its the size of a hamster, but it meows and has a cat tail, and is normally found in some weird combination of colors, like orange and lime green. The catster actually started out as an idea for one of my graphic arts projects. We were doing animation and we had to create a character. This one guy that sat at my table was drawing a posessed pikachu from one of my keychains, and so me and everyone else at the table were talking about pokemon.. We were talking about how wrong pokeballs are, and how we were thinking that they probably tested them on cats, so I drew the result of a cat from a defective pokeball (which was basically a cat in the shape of a ball) but someone took it from me and made it into a skunk. (?) so i drew another one that looked a little bit different, and i thought it looked kinda like a hamster, so i called it a "hamster-cat" until i came up with the shorter version, "catster".
